Throughout the world, young people from disadvantaged families are finding it increasingly difficult to enter the labour market. Regardless of how well educated or trained they are, such young people are unable to secure a stable income. As structures alter, and the economy becomes increasingly digital, many families are unable to provide their children with sufficient security and stability. Many training courses now focus overwhelmingly on technical know-how which quickly becomes out of date and fail to sufficiently prepare young people for a life in which resilience and the ability to develop solidarity within the local community remain important factors for success. Particularly in their first few years of working, young people need to develop new ways of thinking and behaving, and this can lead to feelings of disorientation. We have developed measures which increase the positive feelings of the individuals we support towards potential employers.
